A Big Day Ahead
Wow! We're up, have had breakfast, and Jay led us in a devotional this morning. We're excited about a great day. The church in San Francisco seemed so strong last night. It was great being with them last night and hearing them pray, sing together, and rejoice in baptisms from new believers. Our group got to see the new land that has been purchased for their church some day.
Also, this church has been reaching out around them. There is a group of people that are quite a distance from them (La Palma) that they are supporting in a new church. They've asked that we go there today to do VBS with the children, lead them in some pastoral training (Jeff, Jay, Josh, and Doug), and reach out to their teenagers.
As I'm speaking, Rachel and Isaac are returning from giving their testimonies on the radio that will reach out to Nicaragua and even Honduras.
Pray for us that God will use us in La Palma today and encourage this new church and reach out even more to their communities. We're trying to be open and grap opportunities that God might open up to us. Pray for boldness, the barriers of communication will be broken down, and these people will be ready to receive the gospel, church leadership training, and just love from Brothers and Sisters from Kentucky that happened to travel their way to love and encourage them.
Everyone is doing great and are thankful for all of your prayers!
Gloria a Dios!
