Severns Valley is partnering with Valley Creek Baptist Church to help with the relief efforts in the Houston area. Father and son, Bill and Micah Johnson, traveled to Katy, Texas this past weekend to see first hand the needs we can help with. While there they partnered with the Church on the Rock, which is a Hispanic Church in Katy. They believe that this is a great opportunity for us to partner with a church there.
Bill and Micah are working on getting a team together that would leave on Saturday, Sept. 9th and return on Wednesday Sept. 13th. They are going to have an informational meeting TONIGHT, Sept. 7th.
