It is very clear that God has called us to reach others for Christ. But, how far does God want us to go? What is our responsibility? In two passages of scripture it's made crystal clear how far, and who's responsibility it is to go and share.
Matthew 28:19-20 ESV
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
How far? Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth
Who is supposed to go? All disciples are to share their faith as they are going and then to specific areas that have never heard
SVmissions is committed to teaching, training and leading people to go:
Here: Hardin County | Near: the United States | Far: throughout all the world
We have many ways for individuals, families and Small Groups to serve locally. Below are ministries that we partner with to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those in Hardin County.
- Warm Blessings
- Helping Hands of Hope
- Clarity Solutions for Women
- Habitat for Humanity
- Mission Hope for Kids
We are currently looking for a ministry to partner with in the United States. Our desire is to find a new church plant or a church revitalization in which we can come alongside to make "Disciple Making Disciples." Please be in prayer for us as we continue to look for the specific location.
God has given us the opportunity to help establish two churches in the Western part of Nicaragua. We are working alongside two pastors: Pastor Juan in El Platanal and Pastor Enrique in San Francisco. God has greatly blessed those two communities in the past 2 years. We have seen Him bring many people Christ, seen them baptized and grow in their faith. Currently we are taking two trips per year to Nicaragua. One in January/February and one in October.
