Spring Semester - Wednesday Nights

Spring Semester - Wednesday Nights

Bring the entire family on Wednesday nights. We kick off the Spring Semester at 6pm on February 4:

GO FISH - This semester we are learning what it means to be fishers of men: Here, Near and Far!

NOISE - We recognize and celebrate that God made each child with different talents, gifts, interests, and abilities. We like to make a whole bunch of NOISE as children participate in different skills or areas/activities they are interested in. Join us as we explore our uniqueness and learn how to spread the gospel to the ends of earth with the different talents that God has given each one of us. Children will have the opportunity to choose from:

  • Art
  • Cooking
  • Recreation
  • Lacrosse
  • Worship Team
  • Modern Day Knight
  • Beauty Within

Students meet from 5-7 pm for Connect. At 5:00 pm there is coffee and hang-out in the cafe, followed by games, worship, and round-table discussion from 5:45-7. This is a time that is fun, high-energy, and relationship-building.

CORE Classes: We are excited about how God has led us to offer CORE classes and can't wait to see what He does through them in the spring semester. We are offering Foundations of the Faith taught by Pastor Bill, and two new classes: Spiritual Disciplines led by Pastor Jeff Wilson and An Overview of the Old and New Testaments led by Pastor Joe Thomas.

Foundations of the Faith
This course is designed to introduce you to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. We want to help you not only be introduced to these doctrines but also to understand how they will help you grow in godliness. Our desire is to equip you with the information, and then help prepare you to be able to share your faith, answer questions others may ask you and ultimately help you to confidently be able to share what you have learned with someone else to become a disciple of Christ.

Spiritual Disciplines
Those who follow Christ are to be daily conformed into the image of our Savior. How does this transformation take place? What is my role in growing in Christlikeness? Do I have a responsibility to pursue Christ after He's saved me? And if so, what must I do? We believe there are practices that we can learn. They are called disciplines. Our desire is to: teach you these disciplines, for you to put them into practice, and then for you to share them with others.

An Overview of the Old and New Testaments
Want to know how you can have a better understanding of what you are reading in the Bible? What about the reason different books in the Bible read so differently than other books in the Bible? Do you know the different places that Jesus can be seen in the Old Testament? Do you know why this ancient book called the Bible is so important during modern times? Come and join us in the Bible survey class where answers to these questions will be discussed. We will take a very informative and exciting journey through the most influential book ever written, the Bible.
